We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team based at Lakemba.

About the role
The Senior Accountant role provide leadership, direction, and support to finance staff. Duties include: working capital management, Timely general ledger close-off; regular reconciliations; reporting; journaling and processing; assist audits; maintenance of the fixed asset register; preparation of Business Activity Statements; annual statutory reporting; ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and controls; Process improvement; Ad hoc and projects as required.
What the essential requirements for the role are:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as finance and accounting
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting
- Epicor and Aged Care industry experience desirable
- Knowledge in finance and accounting competencies with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, apply planning, coordination, and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Thorough understanding of privacy and confidentiality in all matters.
- Good stakeholder management skills
